H. Managing and Interpreting the Collective Agreements (One Half Day)

  • Review existing agreements on a clause by clause basis;
  • Provide basic "Labour Relations 101" training to assist Manager/Supervisors in the interpretation of the collective agreement;
  • Develop common understandings regarding the administration, interpretation and application of collective agreements.
  • Ensure protocols are in place to expedite grievance resolution;
  • Ensure Supervisors are aware of the "Do's and Don'ts of administering the Collective Agreement to ensure all management rights are retained.
